G'day! Formada3D is a small, independent 3D printing studio based in Melbourne, Australia. We design and make modern home decor, desk accessories, personalised wall letters, and kids' toy track pieces — every single one printed to order, right here in our workshop.
How It Works
Everything starts as an idea, becomes a digital design, and is then brought to life layer by layer on our in-house fleet of Bambu Lab printers. Because we print to order, nothing sits in a warehouse gathering dust — your item is made fresh for you, usually within 3–5 business days.
Original Designs
Every product in our store is an original Formada3D design. We spend a lot of time prototyping, testing fits and tolerances, and refining each piece until it works beautifully — whether that's a planter that drains just right, a Mac mount that clicks into place, or a toy track piece that connects smoothly with the wooden railway sets your kids already love.
Better Materials
We print primarily in PLA, a bioplastic derived from renewable plant sources like corn starch — a more sustainable choice than traditional petroleum-based plastics. It's strong, lightweight, and comes in a huge range of colours, which is why we can offer custom colour options on so many products. 🌱
Custom Printing Service
Got your own design? We also offer a custom STL printing service — send us your file, we'll quote it, and your $20 quote deposit is credited straight onto your order.
