What are your products made of?
We print primarily in PLA, a strong, lightweight bioplastic derived from renewable plant sources. It's great for decor, desk accessories and toys. For items needing extra durability or flexibility, we sometimes use PETG — the product page will say so.
How durable are 3D printed products?
Very! Our products are printed with solid wall thicknesses and infill tuned for their purpose. They handle everyday use well. Like most plastics, PLA prefers to stay out of prolonged direct sun and hot cars.
Can I choose a custom colour?
Yes — many products offer custom colour options. If you don't see the colour you're after, email info@formada3d.com and we'll check our filament range for you. Note that custom-colour items are made to order and excluded from change-of-mind returns.
How do personalised wall letters work?
Choose your size and colour, then enter your text at checkout. We print each letter individually with hidden keyhole mounts on the back so they sit flush on the wall. We'll email you if we have any questions about your text before printing.
Are your kids' toys safe?
Our toy track pieces are original designs, age-graded 3+ years. They may contain small parts that are a choking hazard for under-3s, so please keep them away from little ones and supervise play. They're compatible with popular wooden railway systems, but we're not affiliated with BRIO, IKEA, LEGO or DUPLO.
How long until my order arrives?
Production takes 3–5 business days, then shipping via Australia Post — typically 2–8 business days standard or 1–3 business days express within Australia.
What's your returns policy?
30-day change-of-mind returns on standard items (unused, original condition, buyer pays return postage). Personalised and custom items are excluded from change of mind, but everything is covered by Australian Consumer Law guarantees — if something is faulty or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. How does the custom STL printing service work?
Email us your STL file with your size, material and colour preferences. We'll quote the job for a $20 deposit, which is credited in full toward your order if you go ahead. You must own or have rights to any design you send us — we don't print copyrighted or trademarked designs without proof of rights.
How do I care for my items?
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid dishwashers, boiling water, prolonged direct sunlight and hot cars, as heat can warp PLA.
Do your planters have drainage?
Check the product page — most planters come with drainage and a matching tray, or a sealed option for indoor use.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
Yes! We love working with shops, schools, and event planners. Email info@formada3d.com with quantities and we'll put together bulk pricing.
Are you affiliated with the brands your products fit?
No. Compatibility names (BRIO, LEGO, DUPLO, IKEA, Apple, Secretlab, Yeti) are used only to describe fit. All our designs are original and independently made.
